Economy Update

The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) board will meet on February 17 and 18 to review the cash rate, which affects interest rates and other key economic indicators like inflation. Many economists predict that, given the moderation of underlying inflation in recent months, the RBA may decide to implement a rate cut. A rate reduction would be beneficial for mortgage holders, as it would decrease their repayments.

How To Make Your Home A Delight for Entertaining

With the work and school year beginning, now is a great time to consider how you can make your home more entertainer-friendly. A few small changes can transform your space into the perfect setting for gatherings. Start with your colour palette—light, neutral tones create a versatile backdrop, while bold accents through a feature wall or statement pieces can add personality and energy. Open-concept spaces are ideal for entertaining, so consider adjusting your living-dining layout or garden area to create a natural flow between rooms. Lighting also plays a crucial role in setting the mood; adjustable lighting, layered lighting, and pendant fixtures can help enhance the energy of your space.

By focusing on colour, layout, space, and lighting, you can easily turn your home into the ultimate entertainer’s paradise for family and friends.
